A Dyson Supersonic dries faster and is lighter and quieter, from €399 in Cyprus today. Other high-speed dryers (Laifen, Dreame and others) start at €59, and a good standard dryer at €19.
The Dyson Airwrap starts at €339 in Cyprus today; other air stylers start at €119. Both dry and curl or smooth in one go; with the Airwrap you pay for the Dyson motor and brand.
For short or fine hair 1,800 watts is enough. For long or thick hair look for 2,200 watts or more, or a high-speed motor, which dries just as fast with fewer watts.
